Tamkin & Hochberg, LLP represented a group of investors in purchasing a large industrial building and adjacent vacant land in Worcester, Massachusetts, in a sale/lease-back transaction. As several of the investors were using funds held pursuant to separate like-kind exchange transactions, the property ownership was structured as a tenant in common transaction. Tamkin & Hochberg, LLP, represented the investors as special tax counsel and also in the formation of various entities, in the review and negotiation of related agreements and documentation and with the commercial loan associated with the client’s acquisition.
