Bob Joyce, a partner in Tamkin & Hochberg, LLP, joined Tamkin & Hochberg in 1999. Bob is a graduate of Boston College High School, Boston College, and received his juris doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. Bob was admitted to the Massachusetts and Maine bars in 1995, the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts in 1996 and U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit in 1998.

A resident of the City of Newton, Bob is actively involved in youth hockey in Massachusetts having served in a number of different positions for more than twenty years. Bob is currently the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors Massachusetts Hockey, Inc. the governing body for youth hockey in Massachusetts which has a membership of over 50,000 players, team officials and referees. He was previously the Director of the Massachusetts Hockey Youth National Bound Tournament Committee, was an elected Director to the Girls/Women’s District of Massachusetts Hockey, and served on the Board of Directors for Massachusetts Hockey for 6 years.

Bob formerly served as the President of Newton Youth Hockey for a 5 year term and was a member of its Board of Directors for more than ten 10 years. Bob has also served as a member and advisor to the Board of Directors of Newton West Little League. Bob has spent many years in coaching his four children in youth hockey and baseball, and although his children moved on to play in college, he remains active in coaching with the Boston Junior Eagles at the 19U girls level having won 4 Massachusetts Tier I state championships and the USA Hockey National Championship in 2019.

Bob practices in the areas of labor and employment law, civil & probate litigation and represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition, financing and sale of residential and commercial property.
