Special Education in Distance Learning Webinar (replay)

Attorney Peter Farrell reviews and synthesizes US DOE and Massachusetts DESE recommendations on the migration to a remote/distance learning environment with particular emphasis on the view point of families of children with special needs, who are on an IEP or 504 plan and some of the recommendations for general education in this unprecedented time. He addresses common questions on every parent's mind during the COVID-19 outbreak and remote learning and takes on an honest assessment of these recommendations in light of existing federal and state special education, disability and anti-discrimination laws.
