We are often asked how often an estate plan should be reviewed and/or updated. While you may not want to constantly think about your estate plan, estate planning is a dynamic process.
Certainly, if your family or financial circumstances have changed, your estate plan should be review, modified or updated. Otherwise, we generally advise that an estate plan should be reviewed every three – five years. If it has been this long since your estate plan has been reviewed, please call us.
